About
A staffing firm built by practitioners.
Evole Stack was founded on a simple observation: the best technology teams are built through relationships, not requisitions. We bring engineering rigor to how technology talent is sourced, screened, and placed.
Our story
Recruiting was overdue for engineering rigor.
We started Evole Stack after years of hiring — and being hired — into technology teams where the process felt broken. Résumés without technical depth. Rate opacity. Handoffs that ended at the offer letter.
So we built something different. A staffing firm where senior engineers do the screening. Where account leads stay through the engagement. Where clients see the same margins their talent sees, and where talent gets honest advice about roles that fit — not just roles that close.
We partner with technology leaders across the US, from early-stage startups to the enterprise. The playbook doesn't change with company size: hire people you'd want on your own team, place them into work worthy of their craft.
Practitioner-led
Our screening team ships code. Our account leads have run engineering orgs.
Transparent by default
Bill rates, pay rates, conversion terms — visible on every engagement.
Relationship-first
Repeat clients and returning talent are our real growth metric.
The name
Evole for evolve. Stack for every layer.
Your technology stack should keep evolving — and the people in it should be the reason why. That's the whole promise, and it applies at every layer: the frontend and the data platform, the individual contractor and the delivery pod, the first hire and the hundredth.
How we screen
What "vetted" actually means here.
Résumé, read by an engineer
A practitioner in the discipline reads every résumé first — not a keyword scanner, not a coordinator.
A real technical conversation
45 minutes on how the candidate thinks: architecture choices, trade-offs, and what they'd do differently today.
Work review
Code, dashboards, runbooks, or design docs — evidence of craft, reviewed against the role's actual demands.
An honest write-up
You get strengths, gaps, and rate context in plain language. Including the weak spots — that's the point.
